Oracle QA Manager in Uruguay
Hand-on QA lead.
Responsible for automating the test cases of Oracle Netsuite’s eCommerce implementations.
Consulting with various clients for eCommerce best practices and QA guidance.
Identifying the scope and feasibility of the business-critical scenarios for doing the functional testing.
Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications.
Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice to resolve problems.
Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
Writes and maintains functional specifications for new or modified business systems.
Develops business processes that ensure developed application meets all project requirements.
Develops and maintains technical and project documentation.
Develops quality assurance test plans and directs quality assurance testing.
Demonstrated knowledge in eCommerce applications and web-based testing
Demonstrated expertise in Change Control tools, Release Management tools, QA processes.
Strong communication and customer focused attitude.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for a team that develops, applies and maintains quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. You will also develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of quality assurance. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
